Interested in becoming a VOLUNTEER?
There are opportunities for all to volunteer at Nadaburg Elementary School. Volunteers are needed throughout the year. PTSA volunteers are appreciated greatly whether they are volunteering during the day at school in the evenings or even weekends.
We encourage you to fill out the volunteer form with your interests and availability so that you can be contacted as the need arises throughout the year.
Interested in becoming a ROOM PARENT?
ROOM PARENT COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as a liaison between the teacher and other room parents, organizing classroom
volunteers for activities such as classroom parties, field trips and PTA sponsored events.
• Establishes a classroom activity fund for party supplies.
• Ensures that each classroom party is planned and staffed with enough volunteers,
crafts, goodies and games. The Room Parent Coordinator is not required to attend every
event.
• Works with the teacher to determine other needs of the classroom; for example, cutting
out construction paper shapes, filling kid’s folders at the end of the day, updating the
bulletin boards.
ROOM PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists teacher and Room Parent Coordinator with special classroom activities and parties.
