Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Ms. Donna Bone and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be your child’s teacher this year.

This will be my 12th year teaching at Nadaburg. I graduated in May 2008 from Arizona State University at the West campus with a degree in Elementary Education. I also have my Early Childhood Endorsement. I completed my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Reading in February 2015 which also resulted in obtaining my K-8 Reading Endorsement. I have taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, kindergarten and 3rd grade.

My teaching philosophy centers on the idea that all students are capable of learning in a welcoming and caring environment. I design lessons that meet each learner at their current level and provide hands-on learning experiences to advance their skills. Every student has a different learning style and I incorporate multiple styles into my teaching in order to reach all learners.

I am a mother of two children. My daughter Jamie is 24 and is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant,  My son Jordan is 22 and is currently serving in the United States Army. I live in Surprise currently and have lived in Arizona for the past twenty-nine years in various cities such as Avondale, Glendale, Wittmann, and Surprise. I am originally from upstate New York.

I have two dogs, Toby and Roxy. They are very spoiled and think they are human!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year and hope we can work together to provide your child with a memorable and rewarding 3rd Grade experience.

Sincerely,

Ms. Donna Bone
