Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Michigan and moved to Arizona with my family when I was in 2nd grade. I met my husband at Wickenburg High School and we have two wonderful children. We have a son who is 17 years old and a daughter who is 15.
I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also attended Grand Canyon University where I earned 2 Masters Degrees. The first degree is in Special Education and the second is in Educational Leadership. This is my 18th year teaching. The last 8 years have been here at Nadaburg Elementary.
My teaching philosophy is that all students can learn when given the correct strategies and tools. Students need a safe learning environment in which to be successful. I believe and teach the students that "Fair isn't everybody getting the same thing. Fair is everybody getting what they need in order to be successful!"
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, hiking, running in mud runs and reading. I love watching my kids play sports. They keep me busy.
